“Dirty Gems” features three new members/musicians in The Hugs. Patrick Wilcox (Guitar, Vocals) Mitch Wilson (Drums) & Davey Appaloosa (Bass). Recorded over November 2011-March 2012 in Portland, Oregon USA.
Songs from “Dirty Gems” were written by singer/guitarists Danny Delegato & Patrick Wilcox. Arrangements and additional composing by Davey Appaloosa & Mitch Wilson, Shay Scott and Paul Hoaglin.

Third Album Announcement
Dear World,
The Hugs have been busy as ever recording 12 brand new songs. Spending many days and nights (since last November) recording in Portland, Oregon (our hometown) and tracking at our favorite studio in the whole world: Klickitat Band Camp (where the past two studio albums were recorded).

These young cats know how to write a tune, and mine the veins of jangle rock, British invasion and early New Wave for their music, which is punctuated by just a bit smarmy yet warmhearted vocals.
